Sermons of J.A.M.

 

James A. McNeilly started as a Presbyterian minister back in the late '40s and became a UCC minister in the early '60s. Over the years his sermons were all typed on 5 1/2 by 8 inch paper with his distinctive two finger stacatto peck. He forever changed my life when, in 1961, he married my mother introducing me, at age 10, into his world of faith, intellect, and social action. My faith was renewed when, after my mother came across 2 boxes full of sermons following his death, I started to read them and understand them and him as if for the first time. I will be retyping these sermons one at a time into this web site so that I can have a chance to read and fully appreciate the words that he spoke over the years.
